Realms of Ghamede
May 6, 2005
Many weeks ago I was commissioned to help on a persistent world project for NwN called Realms of Ghamede. They asked me to recolor a series of NPC and PC portraits to represent their custom character race called the Marikai (who are akin to the Drow in most worlds).
Last minute edits notwithstanding, I have completed my work for them and they have posted some of the images I recolored on their site to help showcase their custom content for the persistent world/mod.
30th Anniversary of D&D
August 13, 2004
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, the pencil and paper roleplaying game that has inspired not only many other roleplaying games and fantasy fiction, but also scores of video games, from Tunnels of Doom to Diablo to Neverwinter Nights.
Here are some articles and other items in retrospect and tribute to the legacy of D&D.

Community Expansion Pack (CEP) Released
March 24, 2004
The Community Expansion Pack has been released!!! I haven't downloaded/installed this exciting new "mega hak pak" for NwN yet, but it promises to be of the highest quality. Of course, I may be biased, given that it includes one piece of my own content ;)
Despite my guess that they were going to use "Wren" from my portraits page, it looks like they might have ended up using "Grolth" instead! Grolth is cool.

SodaBob.com content to be in Community Expansion Pack (CEP)
March 12, 2004
The CEP team has chosen to include one of my portraits in the CEP (Community Expansion Pack). How cool is that? I'm not sure which one exactly, but I think it might be "Wren"... :)
What is the CEP?
"The Community Expansion Pack (CEP)... is the culmination of two years' of community development, experimentation, and contribution. The CEP is the best of the best. It provides you with a single, integrated source of high-quality custom content for Neverwinter Nights... Once you download the CEP you can use it to run any CEP-compatible modules. If you have never used custom content before, don't worry: the CEP does not affect your NWN game installation. It's simple, takes minutes to install, and is only used if you play a CEP-compatible module. You don't need to understand haks, talk-tables' or all of the complicated jargon around custom content. It's that easy and you will be amazed at what it can do for the look and feel of you game. It isn't just about quantity either. It's about high-quality content that plays nicely together."
The CEP isn't released yet, but should be soon; when it is, I'll provide a link to where it can be downloaded! To whet your appetite for this huge, unique project, click here.
